Your Dying Spouse 436 - Pneumonia

If God wants to take me, He's going to have to try harder than this.

  1. I'm sorry to hear about the Pneumonia, but yes you are stronger than that. Thank for the laugh. I've never seen that video clip before.

  3. Hello Andrew. I know it's been a while since I last corresponded with you. I have kept you in my thoughts. I still have the Kelleher Lark plans and parts as well as the CD of plans you sent to me. I have collected a supply of steel tubing so perhaps one day I can weld up a fuselage for a Lark. I will need to become much better at welding first. Pretty sure you knew who Paul Poberezny was......I bought his Super Ace prototype about a year ago and have slowly been restoring it. I haven't forgot you and your interests in aviation....do you still keep 109 parts in the closet? Keeping the faith......Terry

    1. Terry, how wonderful to hear from you! So cool that you got Paul's Super Ace. That is a nice project, and I would love to see pictures some day.

Still have 109 parts in the closet, yes...but I also have a Poberezny connexion, as I recently got an EAA Biplane project in trade for a Great Lakes fuselage and assorted parts. It's far enough along that there is the possibility of at least finishing the airframe, given a short remission of illness.

Keeping the faith here, too. Your note could not have come at a better time to lift my spirits.

  6. Wow, didn't know that you contracted pneumonia, Andrew, though it doesn't surprise me. I'm sure your immune system is so compromised that you can easily pick up just about anything. So I will be firing up more prayers for you than usual, my friend. We need you to make it into 2018 and beyond. Plus, you really can NOT die on your birthday, right?!! Love ya, Andrew! Keep fighting back death, my friend!

  7. Praying that you're still fighting, Andrew! So sorry I haven't been here in a while. Couple deaths made past several weeks really tough. Don't know if I should say it, but gonna do it anyway... Happy New Year to you and Barb and the woofers! Sending everyone love and blessings from me and Jerry.
