Your Dying Spouse 642 - Jesus Having Fun

I can't but help that there were some things that Jesus really enjoyed.

The Lamb of God has really lost it,
He has gone and made a whip!
Seems He's not down with temple profit;
is He on some hippie trip?
We all need to make a living,
a carpenter can sure see that,
but He didn't look all that forgiving
when He knocked Zechariah flat.
We're all just honest businessmen,
that's something no-one disbelieves.
So I can't understand it when...
wait, did He just call us thieves?
Maybe you better colour us gone,
'cause Dad's Big Boy just got home.

Music from Lobo, with Rings. No connexion to the post; I just happen to love the song, and hope you will too.

Thanks to Carol Ashby, Blessed Are The Pure Of Heart is back on Kindle, and will be available in paperback soon.

Friends are everything. I couldn't have done it.

Marley, the canine waif from Afghanistan, whom WE helped save, has a Facebook page! Please drop by to see how happy he is today.

Below are my recent releases on Kindle -please excuse their presence in the body of the blog. I haven't the energy to get them up as 'buttons' in the sidebar. You can click on the covers to go to the Amazon links.

  1. I'm glad to see that even though you face darker and darker days, Andrew, your sense of humor stays in tact! Just checking in with you, my friend. I'm on a blogging break, so I've been a bit distracted. But you're always in my prayers!

  2. Since I am new to your site I still do not know the whole contents of,"Dying Spouse". Is it real life for you? Guess I need to read deeper into your blog post to get an answer I notice Beth comment leads me to believe this is real life for you. If so, I am so sorry. I pray it's not so though.

    1. Hi, Wise Hearted! It's so good to see you here, and yes, this is quite real. I'm trying to document all of the process, the good and the bad...and yes, there was a post about cancer-induced incontinence (well, I did say 'all').

I truly appreciate your presence here, an you prayers.

  3. The money changers in the temple weren't supposed to be there to make a profit, but they were cheating people who came to make offerings to God. That's why he got so mad at them.
