Spending the night screaming (literally) for relief, any kind of relief...would someone please get me out of here!
Morale is good, but the physical fabric is giving way, and I can't stop it.
Get me out of here!
No one's coming, and the pain's ripping further, further...
I'd rather be elsewhere.
So, courtesy the Fab Four, let's take a trip in a Yellow Submarine.
I'll meet you at the dock.
Please pardon my slow response to comments. I do my best, and your comments are really precious to me. Barb is answering many of them now. I'm running on fumes, if you don't mind a macho metaphor.
I'm grateful for the energy to have written this. I'm so glad Barbara's stepped in for many of my posts. I'm really not doing well at all.
Thanks to Carol Ashby, Blessed Are The Pure Of Heart is back on Kindle, and will be available in paperback soon.
Friends are everything. I couldn't have done it.
Marley update... been moved to a sanctuary, and Bay County will revise their 'dangerous dog' codes.
WE MADE A DIFFERENCE!
And marley has a Facebook page! Please drop by to see how happy he is today.
If you can, please do leave a comment. I am trying to answer all, and I am failing, but please know this - I read and treasure each one.
Below are my recent releases on Kindle -please excuse their presence in the body of the blog. I haven't the energy to get them up as 'buttons' in the sidebar. You can click on the covers to go to the Amazon links.
Aww, Andrew, so sorry to hear you are suffering. I am praying for you and Barb. Peace be with.
ReplyDeleteKaren, thank you so much for your prayers. This abyss of pain is an oddly peaceful place, though. Acceptance brings a deep serenity.
DeleteAmong my life goals was to make sure my children knew the names of all the Beatles, and they do. In fact, they have also seen the movie "The Yellow Submarine." I would consider my parenting incomplete if John, Paul, George, and Ringo were not a part of their world. :)
ReplyDeletePraying for pain relief. Blessings!
J, that's terrific! Your kids are so blessed to have a Mom who appreciates real culture, and passes it on. The Beatles were a grace on our world in a very troubled time.
DeleteI sure appreciate the prayers; the past few hours have been truly brutal.
Praying for you in this season of continued intense suffering, unimaginable by most of us. It makes clear to me yet again just how powerless I am when it comes to real things. May God lift you up--He IS coming! and may He sustain your heart and body until that time.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in an isolated part of the world and didn't learn about the Beatles for ages--but in junior high attended a boarding school where my classroom at the bottom of the hill was nicknamed "The Yellow Submarine." I always thought that a super fun name, and how clever of my teacher to have come up with it! Wouldn't it make a cute song!
sigh.
Rebekah, thank you...God is indeed lifting me, on the updraft from the prayers of my dear friends. I am so blessed!
DeleteAnd I loved your take on Yellow Submarine! There are many things I missed, too, whilst growing up...for a long time I thought that the Electric Light Orchestra was a classical group composed of ConEd employees...
Praying for you bro.
ReplyDeleteLOZ, thank you so much. Prayers are needed, and so much appreciated.
DeleteYou know I won't stop praying for you.
ReplyDeleteJan, I do know that you're continually praying, and I am so grateful.
Deletepraying as you wake this morning ...
ReplyDeleteLinda, thank you. It's a very tough day, but I feel the uplift from your prayers, and I am cheerful and in good spirits. God is here.
