Your Dying Spouse 596 - The Reward {FMF}

The pain you bear,
the fear you hold,
the falling tear
from an eye yet bold
will keep you true
to these dying dreams
and see you through
this vale of screams.
I know it well,
this place I roam;
you may call it hell
but I call it home.
Impaled by cancer's flaming sword
this deadly fight's its own reward.

Nothing Is Over.

Thanks to Carol Ashby, Blessed Are The Pure Of Heart is back on Kindle, and will be available in paperback soon.

Friends are everything. I couldn't have done it.

Marley, the canine waif from Afghanistan, whom WE helped save, has a Facebook page! Please drop by to see how happy he is today.

Below are my recent releases on Kindle -please excuse their presence in the body of the blog. I haven't the energy to get them up as 'buttons' in the sidebar. You can click on the covers to go to the Amazon links.

  7. I'm sorry for adding to your suffering this week. Caution is the daily protocol of life, and in a 1/10000 of a second I added to your suffering. I know you say you can do this all day, and you do. However I don't need to add to the daily bearing. I'm ten thousand times sorry for impacting your already difficultly. Love ya.

  11. Praying for you, dear friend and brother in Christ, that you will not "lose heart"!

    "So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal."~~~2 Corinthians 4:16-18

    May He give you the eyes of faith to see the unseen future of beautiful, "no more pain or suffering" eternal life with our Lord Jesus. Love to you and dear Barbara,

    Kathryn

  15. My friend, the struggle intensifies, but the determination grows stronger. You're amazing. I've not been able to keep up with your blogs. Just finished reading several of them. I like the one on spring. I love it when spring awakens the earth, and us. We need it. Life is complicated and the soul wearied of it. Yet, in every day there is cause for rejoicing. We can find something to celebrate. Glad you're still blogging. Bless you.

    A small cheer, my book dinner ladies are reading "Blessed are the Pure of Heart." I could only locate two copies other than my own, so the ladies are sharing. (I don't think I already told you this, but if I did, blame it on stress.)

    1. Beth, thank you so much for the prayers...they really help, are felt, and are needed.

      Staying strong is both hard and easy...hard because it just hurts too much, but easy because I've found a path, and that is to keep things in my life that make me smile...like Barbara, the dogs, Shrek, and Lo-Carb Monster Energy drinks.

      Thank you so much for being here!
