The days march by, each weirder yet,
and talking heads have naught to say,
but just what you gonna bet
that they will jabber anyway
to try to make some kind of sense
of what's senseless in the end,
thinking there is recompense
in that which even God can't mend.
This all reminds me of a tale,
here in this bewildered hour,
of that great construction fail,
the raising up of Babel's Tower
when on display there came to be
just how dumb people can be.
Sylvia knows dogs are SO MUCH smarter.
What? You don't think we humans have learned from our past mistakes?!!
ReplyDeleteThe heedings to the 7 church in Revelation are still our heedings of today. Time matches on but humanity still has fallen flesh.

Giving thanks that His redemption is greater than our fallenness, Andrew!
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful God is in control. It matters not what the talking heads say because God has the final say. Amen! Blessings to you and Barb and the doggies!
ReplyDeleteI think Sylvia is right.
ReplyDeleteCome quickly, Lord Jesus!
How wonderful to remember that the story ends well...
ReplyDeleteHis story is the only story that makes sense!
