Your Dying Spouse 695 - Don't Feel Much Like Writing

It was not a good weekend.

Sylvia, the Pit Bull who is 'face of the blog', and Chris, the yellow Lab who was the 'adult in the room' among the service dogs, died within twenty hours of one another.

They were both quite old, but still...that's 2/3 of the canine care team gone, and those two were the ones who did canine CPR to save my life.

I'll give them a writeup later this week, but for now I feel kind of empty, and do not know what to say.

I have trouble speaking now, but with these guys, I didn't have to. They understood on a level deeper than any words.

I've learned on growing older
that the good things never last,
and don't look o'er the shoulder
to try to catch the past.
If it's good it lives within you
'till the day on which we rise
to the place where reams are true
and we meet Him in the skies.
Until then live with quiet grace
for the sake of those you've lost,
and don't forget each treasured face
no matter what the cost.
On the tide of time we travel hence,
but not without remembrance.

Music from Paul Anka, with Times Of Your Life.

Thanks to Carol Ashby, Blessed Are The Pure Of Heart is back on Kindle, and will be available in paperback soon.

Friends are everything. I couldn't have done it.

Marley, the canine waif from Afghanistan, whom WE helped save, has a Facebook page! Please drop by to see how happy he is today.

Below are my recent releases on Kindle -please excuse their presence in the body of the blog. I haven't the energy to get them up as 'buttons' in the sidebar. You can click on the covers to go to the Amazon links.

    2. I was so delighted to meet PRIEST AZIBA after a long time looking for help in order to fix the ups and downs with my boyfriend. We lived together for two years without any problems until this year when he started seeing another girl, When I tried talking to him, he decided to leave me for her which made me so heart broken after all we have been through together, he even stopped picking up my calls and also blocked me from calling him. I love him dearly and couldn't accept losing him that's why I decided to seek help from PRIEST AZIBA through his number +2348100368288, he helped me quickly in one day and as I speak my boyfriend is back to me with lots of love and respect like never before. Am expecting more good things to happen in our relationship.

  2. Oh (((((Andrew)))))

It seems that your ties to this Earthly life are being dissolved. We are not ready to let you go, but when you are ready, you'll know it's time. Meanwhile, your words continue to inspire and comfort us. Thank you for sharing that gift with us.
