I'm not sure how much longer
I can still go on.
Cancer's getting stronger
instead of getting gone,
but I still enjoy my days
as long as I remain,
arms upraised in thanks and praise,
and singing through the pain.
I would not change anything,
for each hour's treasure.
I hear the beat of angel-wing,
a blessing beyond measure
that reminds me of the Home
to which, one day, I will be goin'.
Sylvia likes angela, especially when they bring ice cream.
Praying you and Barb will continue to experience His Presence and His grace during this season, Andrew. And you are right, each hour is a treasure to be prized for the gift it is to us.
ReplyDeletePraying for grace and help for you both during this time.

ReplyDeleteMay the Lord comfort you and fill you with great peace and a sense of His presence.
ReplyDeleteYou've held on for so long, I'm utterly amazed. I thank you for the encouragement you offer even though your life is so rough. I think that I have it rough but then you are making the most of the days. Thank you for cheering us (me) up. God is helping you.
