Your Dying Spouse 718 - Gain

Days right now I can't describe, but I won't quit.

I do ask your prayers.

Into the land of darkness,
beneath the dun-winged night
I’m locked in devil’s harness,
and locked into this fight.
It’s not been of my choosing,
it’s not been to my taste,
and though it’s past confusing,
there is no time to waste
for every minute that I gain
from which I might wring joy
outbalances the myriad pains
that Satan may employ.
Death is gain, and never loss
when you’re in the shadow of the Cross.

Music from Asia, with Only Time Will Tell

Thanks to Carol Ashby, Blessed Are The Pure Of Heart is back on Kindle, and will be available in paperback soon.

Friends are everything. I couldn't have done it.

Marley, the canine waif from Afghanistan, whom WE helped save, has a Facebook page! Please drop by to see how happy he is today.

Below are my recent releases on Kindle -please excuse their presence in the body of the blog. I haven't the energy to get them up as 'buttons' in the sidebar. You can click on the covers to go to the Amazon links.

  1. I'm sorry it's so very hard for you dear brother. But thank you for sharing your beautiful poetry with us still, even from within the darkness. We are in the shadow of the cross, waiting for that glorious resurrection. And I am praying for you tonight. May you feel the closeness of Jesus as you rest by His shadow.

This is hard to live out, isn't it, friend. Only through Christ's help can we make it through ...
