Your Dying Spouse 601 - Why I Write {FMF}

Time for some fun. Things healthwise are dreadful, but why focus on that?

So...often comes the question...what is the motivation in writing?

Why do you do it?

Here's the answer.

If you ask me why I write,
the answer’s ordinary.

I want to bring my readers light,
and for me, a new Ferrari.
It’s not that I’m love with money,
just want to pay the bills,
but you know, it’s kinda funny
the gas my Learjet swills!
No-one needs a manor-house;
a quiet abode will do.
So I will never ever grouse
’bout the beach-house in Malibu.
And yes, writers get lovely dames
but I really MUST remember names!

Thanks to Carol Ashby, Blessed Are The Pure Of Heart is back on Kindle, and will be available in paperback soon.

Friends are everything. I couldn't have done it.

Marley, the canine waif from Afghanistan, whom WE helped save, has a Facebook page! Please drop by to see how happy he is today.

Below are my recent releases on Kindle -please excuse their presence in the body of the blog. I haven't the energy to get them up as 'buttons' in the sidebar. You can click on the covers to go to the Amazon links.

  3. This post made me laugh, although I hesitated to tell you that. So often I find humor where, to my chagrin, I learn none was intended!
