Your Dying Spouse 658 - Lab Results

Healing can come from the most unexpected places. Several years ago, Barb saw a black Lab looking very lost and anxious on her drive home. She stopped the car, and he jumped in as if she were his Lyft.

Life hasn't been the same since.

Do you want a life of danger,
exercise to melt the flab?
It comes with sunshine and no anger:
may I introduce the Lab?
He's big and strong, enthusiastic
to go where his senses lead,
direction change is rather drastic;
firm grip and footing's what you need.
When you walk him on a leash
be sure your thoughts do not meander;
if they do, he will thus teach
by dragging you through lawn and planter.
My Labby doth repay in kind
with his cheerful Lab-track mind.

Music from the Partridge Family (yes, really!) with Come On Get Happy, from the soundtrack of the highly recommended Ant-Man And The Wasp.

Thanks to Carol Ashby, Blessed Are The Pure Of Heart is back on Kindle, and will be available in paperback soon.

Friends are everything. I couldn't have done it.

Marley, the canine waif from Afghanistan, whom WE helped save, has a Facebook page! Please drop by to see how happy he is today.

Below are my recent releases on Kindle -please excuse their presence in the body of the blog. I haven't the energy to get them up as 'buttons' in the sidebar. You can click on the covers to go to the Amazon links.

  1. Oh, Andrew, how cute & whimsical! Everyone will smile :) Aren't doggies great?! And wonderful company & therapy, gifts from God. My love for my little 6+ lb pup has helped me think of how amazing God's love is for me, albeit on a much more massive scale.

    Love, grace & prayers for both you and Barb, Kathryn
