So true. I have waited too long for too much, and the things I thought I would have time for have slipped through my fingers.
I could have done this, built that, traveled there...
...but mostly, I could have been kinder.
Please pardon the short post. Been experiencing severe chest pain over the past couple of days, and 36 hours ago was bitten by a rattlesnake.
I do ask that you be patient with my slow replies to your comments (which we treasure). I'm trying to stay caught up.

DeleteThe rattlesnake did get away. I'm sort of glad, and hope he found a distant dirt-mound to call his own, because I really hate killing things. Well, except mosquitos.

Where were you when the rattlesnake bit you? I'm surprised it had the gall to do that. If you had bitten it back it would be dead now. ;-)
ReplyDeleteJan, the dogs who were outside started barking in an odd way, and I got bitten when I went to look. Didn't get much warning, a quick rattle and then the strike.
DeleteI thought about biting it right back, but thought the ASPCA might object.
